We stayed at both parts of this hotel, caminante class 1 & 2. Both have positives and negatives. In Class 2 - you are a bit away from the main part of the hotel (check in desk, staff, etc) but the wifi is better, there's no buzzer, and there are individual shower/toilet options. You also get a key to the lock to go in and out of the hotel. In Class 1 the rooms are connected to the bathrooms so it is very noisy as there are always people going in and out. Our room didn't get a wifi signal inside of it either. You also don't get a key to the lock to enter the hotel. Normally someone is there to let you in and out, but if there's not the buzzer is loud and it did make me wonder what would happen if someone wasn't there and a fire broke out...there's no other way out of the building. In both places the bed was not particularly comfortable either. Personally I would choose class 2 over 1. On the plus side, the bathrooms were kept very clean and the location was spectacular, just a block and a half from Plaza de Armas.
