Room very pleasant & spacious. Bedding not great, two single quilts covering 3 single beds pushed together ! Location about 5 miles out of hofn, coach trips staying not great as all arrive & leave at same time, Breakfast really poor, only hint of hot was the coffee & toaster, really anniying as made to pay extra for this, booked thru hotels.com, well over £200 per night, hotel site said breakfast complimentary- but it seems not if Expedia related, location too remote to go elsewhere when on tight schedule.

The hotel is divided into two sections, and the room I stayed in was located in the older part, which felt quite outdated. My view was of the parking lot, which wasn’t ideal. No phone service to the front desk.

I thought it was in Hofn and am sorry we didn’t stop in the village. There must have been a tour bus that filled up the place and all the good things were gone on the menu. Breakfast was really nice and staff were great.
