This is a great hostel in Quito. The rooms were spacious, and kept very clean. While the bathroom is slightly small for my taste, the shower was roomy and i had a place to put all my stuff. The bed and pillows were great. The desk was the only thing i did not like too much: it was too high and the chair was a curule-style one, definitely not comfortable to use as a desk chair. Wifi is fast, but not everywhere. There were spots in my room that had poor signal. Living room downstairs is ok, but wifi there is very fast.
Breakfast is served in a nice, clean room. A bit small for my appetite, but it's great to get fresh fruit and juice. The staff is friendly and helpful.
I liked a lot that there's laundry service available at a reasonable price. One other thing i found awesome is the closeness to the Alameda metro station, and some dining options like Pollo Campero or the Frutería Monserrate (what a great place to eat!).
While the neighborhood was safe during my stay, i would not recommend going out for a walk after dark.
