Hard to ruin someone's day twice during a one night stay but they managed it. I had this one night stay and another schelduled a week later as I traveled through Phnom Penh to other destinations. I had stayed here in February of '22 and enjoyed my stay. As I checked in, I asked about breakfast hours since I would be leaving early the next day. They made no mention of preparing a breakfast box for us and I just assumed it wasn't an option as it had been at other hotels. I checked in and while my friend was in the shower came down to ask for 2 extra towels. I'm not above using a towel twice but since we were leaving the next morning I knew they'd have no time to dry out. They acted like I had slapped them in the face! They were dumbfounded. The guy at the desk tried to tell me that for a one night stay they only provided two towels. Are you kidding me? LOL. I have never, ever, in all my travels had a hotel make an issue out of providing a couple of extra towels. Incompetent and unfriendly. The next morning, at checkout, the lady in front of me happily accepted her two breakfast boxes. Of course, they were not an option at this point for me(I asked) since they had been prepared the night before. I canceled my reservation for a week later and stayed at the White Mansion Boutique Hotel. Stay there instead! It was gorgeous and the staff was super friendly and accomodating.
