The hosts were delightful. The room had everything you could need and breakfast was delicious.

Small unique B&B property in the English Lake District near Lake Windermere. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants in the village. Beautiful garden in front yard. Relatively small room, but very comfortable, including the four-poster bed!

After a busy week exploring Scotland, my boyfriend and I decided to make a stop for a couple of day in the quiet town of Windermere to get some rest and relaxation before continuing onto our busy adventures down in London. Jericho was just what we needed. The entire place was beautifully decorated and very very well kept. Our room was so cozy (but spacious) and luxurious--I probably could have just moved in. Oh and don't even get me started about the breakfasts! They serve up a WONDERFUL...

It was relaxing. The spa bathroom with steam room was great. Also the patio area with the plants and other decorations made it enjoyable and relaxing.

Lovely large and clean room witb a super comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Manor. The hosts were great and offered advice on dining in the local area and walking directions to the town. We spent most of our time traveling the area and did not eat in the restaurant. The room was a little on the small side and the hot weather required a fan in the room which did not add to the comfort. Otherwise all good and worth a visit

A truly amazing property. Unparalleled service, exquisite country setting, the most wonderful food and presentation. We were here two different nites within a week and were welcomed back on our second stay like old friends. Deco is amazing...cannot say enough about this wonderful property. Be sure to visit the llamas!

Glenn and Susann were lovely hosts who showed us great hospitality. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was skillfully cooked to order, full of options and served with great attention. We enjoyed our stay at Storrs Gate House during our time in the Lake District.

Really lovely B & B just a few minutes walk into the centre which had plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants It’s also near the Orrest Head walk with spectacular views. We ate at Tapios one night for delicious tapas and highly recommended them. Our second night we ate at The Pig ( name changed to Tilly’s ) and had their Cajun chicken burger… yummy! Lovely country pub, with very friendly staff

This was such a comfortable stay with every amenity possible. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

We had a very pleasant stay at Kirkland Guest House. The property was clean, neat, and well maintained throughout our visit. The hosts were extremely helpful, welcoming, and genuinely kind, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. While it isn’t a luxury or fancy property, it offers excellent value for money and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The warm hospitality and attention to guests really stood out.
