Really great stay
Thé whole Zermatt is an amazing place and also the hotel was very easy to find , as everything in there locates very near, Great place, quiet, nice breakfast. My room was a bit small and low , also a bit hot, but no worries at all. Very nice service and the place seemed to be much cheaper than the rest

Exceptional Customer Service
I can't express how impressed and grateful we are for the customer service we received. They truly went above and beyond and helped us turn a bit of a disaster in our itinerary into the best time. I would recommend staying here and no where else in Zermatt. We can't speak highly enough about the front desk staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start your day. They do have a lift.

This property is such a wonderfully unique place. Owner Richard is an avid mountaineer, hence the namesake “base camp”. The property is traditional, cozy, welcoming, and nicely updated with modern technology. The staff is super friendly. The view of Matterhorn from our room is gorgeous. The breakfast is very good. This is definitely the highlight of our vacation in the Swiss Alps. We would highly recommend it.

Great for Matterhorn View, worth the price
My room has a balcony that is facing Matterhorn. It is spacious and it looks three times better from the picture. It also has a lift/elevator if it helps. Overall it is a great place to stay. Also it is 15-16 mins walk from the train, a little climb to the hill but for me who is not that athletic i can still manage A little downside was, when I first enter the room, and check the toilet there were f*c*s stains inside the toilet bowl. Good to have some double check for the housekeeping team
