I had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall. When I checked in on October 8th, the young man at the front desk was delightful and made the process smooth and welcoming. The rooms are great! However, my experience the next morning was less positive.
I asked for a 20-minute late checkout, but the elderly African American lady at the front desk informed me that they were fully booked and needed to clean the rooms. While I understand that, as someone who works in hospitality, our motto has always been that the customer is always right—or at the very least, we make an effort to show that every request is considered, even if we can’t accommodate it. Unfortunately, her response was rude, abrupt, and very matter-of-fact, which left me feeling dissatisfied. I saw only one maid on the floor surely she could not possibly clean everybody's room in 20 minutes!
Despite this encounter, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again.
