Nice place and very nice host. Room was small but clean. Breakfast was inside, while they have two very beautiful terraces. That was a bit of a pity. But overall we had a very good stay.

A very plush place!
I had a very short stay as a stopover between buses. The location was key for me and only 10 minutes walk to the bus station. My hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house is really stunning and a shame I only had a few hours to experience it. Cienfuegos seems like a great place and worth spending more time here

The best during trip to Cuba
Quiet and in good condition, clean and tidy reasonable price, and 10 mins walking distance to the main spot of Cienfuegos, close to the Main Street. Very friendly host, there was one night when the whole town was suffering from power failure, when we came back from dinner, the host worked so hard with mechanic to try to recover the power supply, when we were worrying if we had to take shower in the dark, they successfully recovered within 15 mins. Really impressed by their effort, highly recommended

A comfortable stay in beautiful Cienfuegos
Nice, clean and comfortable rooms in a house with a nice rooftop deck. Located a short walk from downtown and the beautiful Cienfuegos waterfront where you'll see lots of old French architecture as I'm told this is the only city in Cuba that was built by the French, not the Spanish. Our hosts Meida and Johnny were very nice. The food was quite good. This was one of the better casas we stayed while traveling Cuba. Meida speaks english and between her and Johnny they were able to answer all our curiosities about the city, region and Cuba generally. If my next trip to Cuba takes me back to Cienfuegos - and it probably will - theirs be the first casa I look for an availability. A great addition on the way to or from popular Trinidad since most Viazul bus travel routes you through this beautiful city.

This is a very special place to stay, the whole house its super well maintained and clean. They offer a super attention and amazing food. They take care of you better than in any other part of the world. I would stay here over and over again without hesitation, because they treat you as kings and queens when you are at their property. Not even at hotels they clean and organize your room every day like they do. Amazing work from Maide and her husband Jonnys. They go out of their way to satisfy your needs and make you feel special. We are already planning our next trip to their amazing home.

Not pleasant
We were expecting to experience local hospitality but what we experienced was exploitation. The hosts seemed to push for any sort of extra service which they could charge extra for or take commission for. The room was decent in size but the sheets had holes or were yellowish. We asked for the towels to be changed as they were stained. But towels with the same stains kept making a reappearance! Toilet had an ugly smell. The only positive was the breakfast but even the water you asked with it was charged extra. The services they provided (eg daily tours) were not worth it as they were with very very old taxis that just couldn't go up small hills (we had to get off the taxi for it to restart). Overall we were happy to leave and not return again.
