The lady who runs this was helpful polite and accommodating, it was quite clean and tidy. More than reasonably priced and will stay again Michael x

10/10 Exceptional

The property owner was super accommodating and gave me a free upgrade to a huge ensuite bedroom, much appreciated! It's quieter part of town, and still walkable to the beach, perfect!

Very good hosts. Very nice people
Very nice Hotel but the man and woman that runs it are very nice and they go out their way to help you. They said, if anything you need, just knock on my door and we will help you as much as we can Would recommend this place

2/10 Poor

Wouldn't stay again
Porter seemed drunk, given wrong room, given bunk beds instead of two single beds, decor indescribable, rough bed sheets and pillow cases TV remote didn't work very well, alright if you was out on the piss but not for a family.

Leak ment I was moved to another hotel
There was a leak so was moved to another hotel that was no better

Bit disappointed to be honest
The room bore no resemblance to the pictures on the booking site. It was clean but in a poor state of repair. One of the photos is of a pool table, which does not exist at the hotel. Other rooms in the hotel looked better to be fair. I experienced a friendly welcome on arrival.

Really bad. Won’t be staying here again
Staff were friendly but beds hard as anything, couldn’t have food or drink in the place and there’s no bar when they said we have to purchase stuff in the bar. Hardly any plug sockets. Shower broken. We had no towels. Noise in the morning and forced to check out at 11am leaving us with nowhere to go for the day.

Very disappointed
Absolutely shocking place to stay definitely not is advertised on any of the pictures. Drawers broken, tobacco in the top draw, stains on the floor and no milk for refreshments in the morning. Think money spent on soap and shower gel more than on the room. Small, dinghy and no room. I know it was advertised as a budget room but I'm sure the homeless on the streets had better accomodation. Ended up moving after 1 night and paying for another room in a other hotel.

2/10 Poor

Damp, needs knocking down and rebuilding
Really run down hotel if you call it that just a cramped box room which needs urgent work done. Room fully of damp, not hot running water in room or bathroom, floor damaged, radiator hanging off wall, room needs cleaning, window cracked and window needs securing, door lock hanging off, mattress mouldy and really noises. Bathroom never cleaned in 3 days, shower stopped working twice reported but no response.

I did not stay over inbthe hotel. The water was cold and i was told thec heater is only being switched on in winter. I was attended by a drunk lady and she seemed bot to care. I had to look for another hotel that same night and got one around 12midnight. Im not happy and i would live to have my refund

I asked for a bedroom next to bathroom bus to blader problems ,I was put in a room at the very top ,room had holes 8n the wall ,the entire place was dirty. ,if I saw this on review I would never have stayed Was bored in bedroom ,no TV ,I would not recommend putting anyone in such a place And £90 pound for 1 night ,I would pay 10 pence if I saw it

I had a really horrible experience with this place there was no TV working and when I asked they said they will bring a another TV in few minutes which were never came and toilet and bathroom too small you can't sit properly, shower not working you have to hold the switch to on the shower otherwise it's goes off just imagine how you gonna keep the switch on if you want to have bath lol, all in all poor place to stay better to spend few more pounds and get hotel like holiday Inn or other. Sorry but I have to share this reality to save other people money and their enjoying holiday time......
Riyazali, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

There's better budget hotels.
As far as budget hotels there are definitely better ones.. We have up and went home and didnt spend the night. Some money needs to be invested in the place. FAULTS in the 1 room we stayed in Bedroom door wouldn't lock and as we was next to bathroom we had a drunk walk in to our room Smell of sewer in bedroom and a leak/drip on the floor Wallpaper peeling where previous leak has been botched with a random bit of plasterboard Crack in window Bedding was damp No heating despite being a very cold night Only parking available for 2 cars so had to pay for overnight parking (not the hotels fault but be aware you may have to pay for parking (1 mile down the road £8 for 24 hour parking) All in all the room was clean but definitely needs some TLC

Interesting
Booked this hotel as it was low cost for the one night but didn’t expect it to be such a sh*t hole. Turns out there’s 2 Driftwood hotels in the area which caused confusion. Got to our Driftwood hotel and was greeted by a woman from the neighbouring ‘hotel’ she let us in and showed us the Wi-Fi code and then left. Both doors for the rooms booked weren’t secure and could be VERY easily accessed. Thankfully we were staying with a trusted male friend but if we weren’t we wouldn’t have stayed overnight. Very noisy, rooms were appalling and rundown. Wi-Fi didn’t work and the bathrooms were a state. No soap in the bathroom or working water in the sinks. Please do yourself a favour and don’t book.
