Yanxtey went above and beyond with her excellent costumer service, honestly all the staff was great and wonderful. The hotel was very clean and the room was big and nice . The only downside is the internet which is really bad , so basically no internt at my room I had to go in certain area at the lobby to get some signal . The hotel is away from only havan like 10 miuntes drive. Definitely I will be back if they work on the internet.

Sublimely extravagant boutique hotel. We have stayed in many luxury hotels and few boutique hotels and El Candil is by far the most amazing experience (yes it's not a stay it's an experience) we have ever had the pleasure of. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and there is nothing they won't do for you. Arranging tours, transfers and great advice. Attention to detail is in every aspect of your experience. We were treated to a roof top terrace with only one other guest. A barman/server and two chefs! We felt like Royalty. Fresh cocktails made to order and beautiful food made fresh to order whilst soaking up the relaxing atmosphere of the private (for guest) roof terrace. The room is beautifully decorated,again with attention to detail in everything. The bed, bedding and pillow are sumptuous. We can't recommend El Candil enough our only regret was not booking this hotel for our entire stay in Havana. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend the hotel and it's staff enough.

The hotel is about 10 minutes by taxi out of the old Havana area, it felt safe and welcoming the minute you arrived. Yanetxy and Rosebel were most helpful and accommodating at this beautiful boutique hotel. We were given suggestions were to eat and how to stay safe while touring around Havana. They were instrumental in arranging our vintage car tour of Havana which was incredible! There is a roof top bar and a restaurant that serves amazing food. Definitely will stay here again when we come back to Cuba!

Excellent on all Levels, Great and Beautiful place. Excellent food as well, ama,ing chef and very quiet location. My one and only complain which is very minor is that i was charged $3.00 (us) for a very, very, very small cup of coffee and it was even half full!!! I thought it was absurd. But over all experience was Excellent. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

A real gem!
This hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff are so lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay in a special place with genuine staff. We stayed here with a toddler and it was great could he could play in the courtyard as we were on the ground floor suite. We were even able to rent a stroller which meant one less thing to travel with. The food was also really good. We loved our stay here and would go back again!

Absolutely loved this privately owned hotel! The staff was super friendly and recommended places to eat and stuff to do. It was the main reason why I booked this spot. My partner and I traveled together to Cuba for three clear days. The experience was truly amazing! The staff at El Candid is so efficient and helpful! Their suggestions for the best vacation experience were excellent from the restaurants to the tours. All our needs were met and exceeded all our expectations! The staff planned a classic car tour for us for my birthday! We had such a thoughtful and knowledgeable driver who ensured that we had a good time. They also surprised me on the morning and evening of my birthday ☺️☺️. Thanks guys! The rooms and surrounding areas are clean, the staff (every single person) very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was consistent each morning, the taxi drivers were friendly and on time.
