We booked the water view room, and it was great. The room was small, but it was not an issue. One thing to note, though, is that the balcony overlooks a street that is busy with restaurants, and it can be loud until midnight-1am. It was not an issue for us, but it might not work for you if you prefer to go to bed earlier. The only bummer was that the wifi did not work out on the balcony. Would recommend though!

Deluxe family room 208 as described. Wonderful view of Istanbul across the water. Spacious, with comfortable double bed in main room and comfy day bed in the terrace lounge area. Lovely dining area overlooking the water. Good air con, shower, amenities, reception and great service generally. Friendly helpful staff.

Double room was very small with bed pushed against wall and nowhere to store large case. Balcony and view was amazing. Bedding was stained but the rest of the room was clean. Free bottled water was good. Location was really good also.

Vacation in Istanbul
I had a room with a beutiful view of Istanbul on the other side of Bosporus. Very friendly, nice and always eager to help people. Healthy, delicious breakfast included in price. During our stay we could listen to Greek music in the evening. I will take with me only beautiful memories from this place. Thank you.

In general standard rooms are quite small on the island. This one was fine but there was no working area. No chair to work on the make up desk so I had to work on my bed. One of the most famous fish restaurants on the Island is part of the hotel where you can enjoy your raki, fish and meze. Location is right on the center.

Clean and tidy
The hotel is neat and very clean which is rare in Istanbul area! Beautiful interior, nice breakfast , nice staff! The only issue for me was smoking ! People smoke in the hotel which is typical for Turkey but unacceptable for me. But we fixed it with the staff immediately as soon as I asked to. I hope one day Turkey will take strict measures about smoking in public places and people will follow them.

A disappointment in a lovely location
I have always loved this hotel for its location, and amazing views from its balconies, and the kindness of the staff even though it is very unkempt as a hotel. However, this year I noticed that the service had gone down tremendously! No “Good morning” or smile at all from the restaurant staff. The towels had holes and were discolored! The bathroom had a leak and we almost slipped and fell from the wet floor. When I showed this to the managers and asked them to at least comp the breakfast for the unacceptable service and condition of the towels, I was told they could not comp it but that they would talk to the staff. I find this to be VERY unprofessional. The hotel rooms are so old that they need a major facelift and a complete set of new towels! They should be ashamed to put those kinds of towels in guest rooms! I have another 3 days booked in August and I’m going to keep that due to the convenient location, but if I don’t see new towels and smiling staff, that will be the last time I’m there!

Gece giriş yaptık. Resepsiyonu yok. Oda ilk bakışta temiz gözüküyor fakat yatakta kirler vardı. Gece duş alacaktık fakat sıcak su yoktu. Otelin muhattabı yoktu. Aradığım numaralarda da açan yoktu. Fiyatına göre hiç iyi değildi.

Otele giriş yapacağınız zaman, altında bulunan restoran kısmından check-in yapmak zorundasınız. İçeride check-in yaptırdığınız yer ile restorana ait mutfak aynı yerde. Resepsiyonda beklerken üzerimize yağ kokusu sinmesinden korkarak bekledik. Diğer yorumlarda belirtildiği üzere odalar dar, bizim kaldığımız odada bir çift kişilik yatak, balkonda ise bir tek kişilik yatak vardı. Hijyen olarak çarşafların temizliği yeterli seviyedeydi. Evlenme teklifi edeceğim gece için tutmuştuk. Otelin hemen altında yer alan restoran gece geç saatlere kadar yüksek sesle müzik çalıyor. Bizim odamız restoranın deniz kenarındaki masalarına bakıyordu, gece yarısından sonra dahi aşağıdakilerin halayı eşliğinde uyumaya çalıştık. Odanın dolabında bir pantolon unutmuşuz, görevliyi arayıp bize kargolamasını rica ettiğimizde, pntolonu bulduğunu ve bize göndereceklerini söylemelerinin üstüne iki hafta boyunca göndermeyip en sonunda pantolonu kaybettiklerini söylemeleriyle otel ile olan maceramız son bulmuş oldu :)
