Fantastic Stay! Thank you Sara and Pietro!
Definitely recommend for your next stay in Rome- we booked Merulana Suite as it was close to everything being on Giovanni Lanza. The price was extremely fair, especially given the quality of the location and the stay itself. The real star was Sara, greeting us at the door and helping to provide anything we needed at our stay, even extra adjustments when we needed to leave early in the morning. Breakfast is also provided and she did a great job at making sure we had what we liked! Pietro's guide to places to go was also handy- definitely consider going to the restaurants he recommends, especially the ones only a short walk away. Altogether we will definitely consider Merulana Suite 2 again when we are in Rome! Don't hesitate to book this room! Please note that you are paying for a room in an apartment with other rooms on your floor in your part of the building- if that bothers you you will want to book elsewhere.

The property was clean and the owners were very nice and helpful. Took a day to get used to the lift which was very interesting. Breakfast was nothing elaborate but was filling and good. Can’t think of the lady’s name but she was so nice and helpful as was the owner, think his name was Pietro.

Merulana #2 was great. This location was walkable to many attractions and had lots of restaurants in the area. The host was there every morning for breakfast so you could ask questions. They were very helpful and organized our taxi to the airport. I highly recommend.

Very difficult if your flight does not land until 16.30 . Had to wait a long time for someone to let us into room. Despite ringing and texting prior to arrival like we were asked to do. The property itself is lovely and unusual.

Highly recommend this wonderful place to stay. Pietro, Pema & Sarah looked after me so well. Even helped me out when my luggage didnt arrive with me in Rome. The room was spacious and exactly how you see it on the booking. Bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot and the breakfast served with a smile between 8-10 each morning. Even though we were on a busy street, when I had the window closed you could not hear anything outside. The room is on 3rd floor, there is a tiny elevator to take up or you can use the stairs. There are many surrounding places to eat and it is a 10 minute walk to the station & about 20 minutes to the Trevi fountain and 10 minutes to the Colosseum. So very central location. I will definitely return and stay again !!!

There needs to be a better way to check in. There was no way to get in when we arrived and no way for us to contact anyone as our internet wasn’t working. There needs to be a proper sign on the door and a way to communicate from the door to room.

Excellent location and beautiful building. Pietro was a fantastic host, very welcoming and could not have been more helpful with restaurant recommendations, places to visit and how to get around Rome. Bed in the room was very comfortable. We needed extra pillows for the bed which we got provided with the same day. Water pressure in the shower is excellent. Room was spotlessly clean. Only downside for us was the layout of the apartment. One large apartment with a central kitchen area with the other rooms being used as 4 bedrooms. Breakfast was served between 8am-10am meaning there was noise from the coffee machine, music being played and chat between other guests. While you don’t want to lie in as there is so much to see and do in Rome, it would be more pleasant to wake up in your own time without being woken by outside noise.

Cute place in great part of town
Cute little apartment perfectly situated between the majn train station and historic sites. We felt very safe in this part of town and thought it was great. The toilet did struggle a little bit and the shower head was a bit loose in the wall but otherwise everything was jn great shape. Everything was very clean as well.

Located near the Colosseum, we were in a good location to get anywhere we wanted to go. The room was comfortable and very clean. Had a couple of days of cold water only from the bathroom sink, but all in all the stay was good.

It is in an excellent and safe location. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The furnishings and bathroom were very clean but the walls in my room were quite dirty. It could use a coat of paint. The bed was very comfortable and the elevator was a lot of fun (old fashioned cage elevator).

Merulana Suites 2 is in a good, safe, and convenient location in the attractive Monti neighborhood. It's a short walk from the Rome Termini Train Station and the historic Colosseum and Roman Forum areas with plenty of restaurants in the area. There are 3 private rooms with a common breakfast/kitchen area within a beautiful apartment building with an elevator. The owners and staff were very friendly and hospitable and provided us with great customer service. The only suggestion I would have is to provide hair conditioner and body wash or a bar of soap for the shower. The shampoo seemed a bit watered down. Other than that, no issues and I would definitely stay here again!!!
