Inexpensive comfortable hotel close to Taj Mahal
We stayed here due to it's proximity to the Taj Mahal - it's location is pretty good, it's clean and the service is excellent. Even though it says 24/7 reception, this isn't really true as the family live in the hotel itself so are asleep - something we found out when we turned up at 1am due to travelling from Jaipur, which left us banging on the door outside for ages to get someone to wake up. So, if you plan to arrive late, don't book this place as you'll be left on the street. The hotel staff member said I should have given them notice we were arrive late, however in our defence the hundreds of hotels I've used over the years will always have someone on reception all night if they advertise 24/7 reception. Apart from that, the room was loverly and spacious, clean, large shower, comfy beds etc. A TukTuk to the East Gate is about 200INR max.

Great location for Taj Mahal - about a 15 minute walk (or 5 minutes to electric shuttle buggies at Eastern Gate parking). Friendly personal service at this small family-run “home stay” (think of it as a boutique hotel). Very comfortable mid-range place to stay, with expected amenities. Superb value.

Wonderful place to stay
This was the best hotel I stayed at in my 19 days in India. The rooms are updated, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom and showers were a relief to a tired body. But it was the service and friendliness that really stood out. Mamas cooking and family stove dinners were a joy and something I look forward to. Iman helped us out with booking train tickets back to Delhi at the last minute when our group plans changed. Help arrange a tour of the Taj Mahal, which was wonderful, And was available for any thing we needed. Great location for Taj Mahal visit, which is within walking distance.

Top rated hotel in Agra with a family feel!
This was an amazing stay within a 5-minute walking distance to the eastern gate of the Taj MaHal. The hotel is family run and we received a warm family type welcome! The meals here are home cooked and delicious! You can get your laundry done for an extremely reasonable price. The room we stayed in was spacious and there’s a nice roof top lounge. Tuk tuks and cars are available for tours. Aman was extremely helpful and informative in checking us in and even helped us purchase our tickets to the top sites! Wow! This hotel was a gem!

Lovely cosy hotel, close to the Taj Mahal
We loved our stay at Aman Homestay! We were welcomed by the family, and made to feel right at home. We enjoyed a homecooked meal on the roof terrace at a super reasonable price (for such a huge amount of food!), and we loved that the hotel was just a couple of minutes walk from the transfers to the Taj Mahal. Thoroughly recommend!

STAY HERE!
I reserved this home stay based on the reviews and was not disappointed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, there was lovely green space, the food was great, and the property was quiet, well maintained and safe. The staff could not be more accommodating and gracious. Aman Homestay is just exceptional! It was home away from home, and we were comfortably hosted for the 2 nights. The hosts are accessible, super friendly and helpful. The meals were delicious, even our kids ate up! We did not know vegetarian could taste so good! Meals are freshly prepared and you can tell alot of love is added into every recipe! Our family suite was spacious, clean and well stocked. We enjoyed returning to our room after sight seeing in the Agra heat. Overal we loved our stay and highly recommend Aman homestay.
