Comfortable stay. It would be great if provide dinner as well.
My friend and I had a very pleasant stay at Okaeri. When we arrived we were shown around the ryokan and then to our room, where we ended up having a short conversation with the staff as we could all speak Japanese. The room was just the size we needed and the futon was very comfortable to sleep on.
We mainly came for the onsen, and it did deliver on our expectations. The 5 private onsen are open throughout the night (from 16:00-09:30) and we never had a problem getting into the open-air one, which was by far our favorite.
Breakfast was simple but delicious and filling. Overall we got a lot of value for what we paid for the night. I wouldn't mind returning to this ryokan in the future when I need to relax and shake off some everyday stress.
