We had a wonderful stay at Marisela's Casa de Colores. She is a very gracious hostess, very helpful in helping arrange taxis and meeting all of our needs and answering our questions. Her kitchen staff makes delicious breakfasts (we didn't have lunch there though it's offered) with fresh fruit and homemade juices and preserves plus excellent coffee included. Everyone who works at the Casa was delightful, right down to the folks who let us in at night no matter how late we returned to the building. We felt entirely at home there. The location is fantastic, with easy access to Habana Vieja and the Malecon and the many places to eat and hear music right in Vedado. Can't wait to return and stay again with Marisela!

This casa was amazing. Marisela was so prompt on answering all my questions before we arrived. She arranged any travel we asked. Breakfast was amazing! The location is perfect. There's so much around her place that's easily walkable. Highly recommend her!!

Excelente servicio.
Excelente servicio y recepción de parte de Marisela, siempre atenta a nuestras necesidades y pendiente de lo que solicitamos. Aún y a pesar de que llegamos muy noche, alguien estuvo ahí esperando a que llegáramos. La ubicación es muy buena, a un par de calles de una estación de Turibus, el cual te permite dar la vuelta a La Habana y regresar sin contratiempos.

Warm great hospitality.
We spended 4 nights at Mariselas place and had a most enjoyable staying. Location is great for staying in Vedado, the place is carefully held and Marisella is a most warm, helpful hostess. Nice breakfast, lovely staff - and a big hug to Michel who helped us a lot and became our friend. We recommend it truly.

Vi blev otroligt bra bemötta av Marisela! Som är en väldigt glad och vänlig kvinna som hjälper dig med allt. Frukosten kan du välja till-vilket vi gjorde. Hemmagjord juice till marmelad på mackan. Så gott! Gång avstånd till havanna city och en biltur på knappt 15 min är du i old havanna. Bo här! Löjligt prisvärt.

Great place in Vedado
Marisela is a wonderful host, I enjoyed my stay very much. For me it was important that the casa is located a few steps away from the University, but it is also close to a few nice restaurants, clubs and other landmarks in Vedado. Finding the right door is a bit tricky, go the the second floor (or the first, depending on how you conut - three flights of stairs from the entrance). Be prepared to be woken up at night by other guests returning home - you don't expect Havana to be quiet, do you? But it's very peaceful otherwise, I had no trouble falling asleep again.

Very friendly and familiar
Madam Marisela is a former professor of history at Havana University. She was a very friendly person, I received the impression that she was a downtown aunt. I felt the good side of socialism in Cuba through her. There is no authoritarian. It is different from Japan. At the breakfast table she was eating fried eggs together and writing books. I felt like, whether I came here to visit my relatives' house, not as a guest? I felt such a kind of illusion or an atmosphere. At night, her son was a guard man and I was relieved. I traveled in Cuba over 29 days. I spent the last 3 nights here. I was able to enjoy music and shows at the “Cabaret Parisian” and “Salon 1930” within walking distance from here. The room was cleaned every day and I was very comfortable. Thank you very much. マダム・マリセラは、元はハバナ大学の歴史学教授です。彼女はとても気さくな人柄で、下町のおばちゃんという印象を受けました。私は彼女を通じて、社会主義国キューバの良い面を感じました。権威主義的なものがないのです。日本と違いますね。朝食のテーブルでは、彼女が一緒に目玉焼きを食べたり、帳簿を書いたりしていました。私はお客さんとしてではなく、親戚の家に遊びに来たような、そんな雰囲気がとても楽しかったです。夜間は、彼女の息子さんがガードマンで、安心できました。私は29日かけてキューバを旅行しました。最後の3夜をここで過ごしました。ここから徒歩圏内にある『キャバレー・パリジャン』および『サロン1930』で音楽とショーを楽しむことができました。お部屋は毎日お掃除してくれ、快適でした。どうもありがとうございました。
