This Place is a Gem!
This was a really cool place to stay, especially with a group of friends! We really enjoyed the beauty of the main house but really loved staying in the carriage house. It's truly a unique setting and was perfect for the six of us.

I can not recommend this stay enough. My fiancé and I came out to Minneapolis to get a wedding ring and stumbled across this beautiful bed and breakfast.
First off, the location was in a quiet neighborhood just outside of the city center so Uber rides to bars and restaurants took all of 10 minutes which was super convenient.
The bed and breakfast itself was breathtaking. The owners really put a lot of thought and care into restoring this home to its original glory from the turn of the century.
We opted in for the full breakfast in the morning which was a 4 course meal consisting of a verity of homemade dishes (the fresh blueberry pancakes were to die for). After our breakfast, one of the owners gave us a full tour of the property along with a small history lesson about how the property tied in so closely with the history of Minneapolis, he was definitely passionate about the work they have put in and you could feel it through the wonderful stories he told through the tour.
I have already referred a few friends and family members to stay while my fiancé and I have already started planning another visit in the near future.

Don't recommend
It's was terrible. Beds were hard. No tvs in the room. Outlets are barely reachable around the bed. No room darkening shades. The shower had 0 water pressure, if you made the shower head uneven by adjusting it water would not even come out of the holes it was just run down to the lowest point on the shower head. The fact that they had no tvs is ok but if that's how you are running it possibly put some games out for guests of have a little game room. No please to get even a glass of water at night. No temperature control in the rooms. Shoes must be taken off at the door. Bed and breakfast is what they claim but the breakfast is a scone? Overall it just felt like they have 0. Consideration for the guests needs. Very outdated with no attempt at bridging the gap. Will not stay again and will not recommend.

It was a lovely, historic property with lots of charm and character. The staff was exceptional and friendly. As there were 4 couples in our party, there was plenty of space in the common areas to play cards and socialize

Sitting in front of the fire in the morning and enjoying coffee, the greats- Madonna andClifton, as well as fun conversation was a great way to begin the day. Walking Loring Park , to breakfast etc we’re other memorable activities, but sitting and enjoying friendly evenings on the covered patio was probably my favorite.
The coach houses definite tuner up! Such a beautiful property!

Hidden gem right in the city!
My sister and I were in town for a baseball game at Target Field. 300 Clifton is within a couple miles from downtown, but feels like you stepped into a whiter, slower paced time. The friendly hospitality of the hosts ( and their 2 Great Danes!) invites you to linger on the veranda for some good conversation. Would definitely recommend as a lovely alternative to your run of the mill hotel.

Lovely historic inn with beautiful grounds and two adorable Great Danes. This is a unique opportunity to bring one back to a more simplified place in time. No TV's and a quiet atmosphere for which to explore make this a true gem in a modern city

They didnt check to see my id to make sure it was me renting a room. My significant other was able to get us in even though it was in my name. So does that mean someone can rent with someone elses name and card.
