Fernando was really friendly. He gave us a lot of tips for Trinidad and even made us a lunchbox for during the bus ride on the day we left. The house is good located, its a short walk to the city center.

Great spot for exploring Trinidad area
We had a great stay. The hosts were super friendly and helpful with advice on organising our plans while in the city. The location was good for us, a 10 minute walk to Plaza Mayor but very close to the lovely Parque Cespedes which has a taxi rank for getting to where you need to go. It also has a fun fiesta as we were there in the week of culture. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. We had a lovely hot shower and access to a balcony area.

Our spacious room was clean, equipped with A/C, and had a big patio. Gabriel was super helpful and reliable. He arranged for us a guide to Topes de Collantes, taxi to the beach, and a guide to go in a horse riding trip. He even got us mangos when we could not find any anywhere. He responded emails, calls, text messages immediately. He has a wonderful little bar/restaurant, Bar Garaje, with a very pleasant atmosphere and service. We highly recommend Hostal Cabriales and when in Trinidad again, we will definitely stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hostal Cabriales. Gaby was really helpful and relaxed. He told us where to go and what to do in Trinidad. We had breakfast included which was an excellent choice! Easy to walk everywhere and 10 minutes from the bus station.

Coincé entre deux bâtiments et très étroit, cet hébergement est très sombre; L'entrée n'est pas agréable, la déco dépassée, et un scooter encombre l'entrée. A l'étage, la chambre est toute en longueur. Pas de fenêtre donnant sur extérieur. C'est sinistre. Une porte en fer donne vers l’arrière sur un voisinage genre décharge et encombrant. La terrasse pourrait être isolée et décorée. Les dessus de lit font fonction de draps. Les oreillers sont durs. Pas de rangement, de chaise et de table. La salle d'eau est carrelée de sombre, c'est triste. Pas d'étagère pour ranger ses accessoires de toilettes. Le petit déjeune est correct. L'hôte est très gentil, mais ce n'est pas suffisant.

Doit s'améliorer
Fernando et sa femme sont très gentil. Le petit déjeuner est correct ! Cependant, certains points sont à revoir selon nous : 1. Il est demandé de ne pas jeter de papier dans les toilettes. Cependant, nous sommes restés 3nuits et la poubelle n'a jamais été changée. Niveau hygiène c'est vraiment pas terrible. 2. Mon conjoint a eu une réaction allergique au matela (eczema et sensation de picotement toute la nuit puis plus rien dès que nous avons quitté le logement). Nous avons l'habitude de voyager et nous n'avons jamais ça. 3. Nous avons demandé de l'aide pour organiser des activités. La précédente casa où nous étions avait un petit livre et nous avions pu choisir ce que nous voulions, ils s'étaient occupé. A l'hostal Cabriales, nous avons fait part de notre volonté de louer des vélos (il y a écrit dans la description du logement que c'est possible de louer des vélos). Nous nous attendions donc à ce qu'ils fassent la réservation de vélo pour nous aider. Mais non, rien n'a été fait alors que nous avions demandé à la femme de Fernando. Nous avons du nous débrouiller et nous avons mis plus de 2h à trouver où louer des vélos. Et à mon avis le prix aurait été moins cher s'ils avaient réservés pour nous. 3. le wifi, il est écrit wifi haut débit gratuit. Cependant quand nous sommes arrivés, Fernando nous a dit que oui il y a accès au wifi mais il faut acheter une carte. Cela veut donc dire qu'il n'est pas si gratuit que ça. Nous avons ralé et donc nous avons eu accès au wifi
