Small rooms
Room was small and felt a bit claustrophobic, same as the elevator. Almost no space for luggage’s. There was a window but the view is the wall of the next building. Only had 2 pillows for 2 guests and no way to request for extra except to go all the way down to the office next door. The hotel has their own resto/cafe which was nice except we were placed in the other building so then we had to go to the cafe down the road for our breakfast. Breakfast was nice but the staff didn’t feel welcoming. Bathroom was nice, clean and seemed brand new. There’s a small fridge in the room. Heater control is on/off only, can’t change temp. Close to the coliseum and the office personnel give good directions.

I enjoyed my stay at Il Covo. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my visit pleasant. However, there was a sewer-like smell that occasionally seeped into the room, prompting me to keep the windows open. This would be problematic during the hot summer or cold winter days. Additionally, after my first night, I only had access to one clean towel daily. Overall, I liked this place and would consider staying again if I could be assured of more towels and a room without any unpleasant odors. The staff and location were excellent.

Loved the property! Great location to see all the major sites. Breakfast was definitely worth it and the 24hr front desk service was great! Getting Ubers/taxis was really easy and there was a few bars nearby as well. We especially loved Sara who was so accommodating during our stay. Definitely recommend this place to stay.

The receptionist was really kind when we firstly arrived, showed us the surroundings of the hotel in a map. The room was really nice, and the air conditioner saved us from the external temperature. We stay there for 6 days. Breakfast was included at a restaurant in the same street. Every morning there was the same breakfast 6 mornings and we did not have a change to choose a different one. The service there was also cold and not friendly. The rooms are very old fashion and for a long time ago they should have redone the rooms.
