The good:
1. Great position on the front near all attractions.
2. Very clean, in fact spotless, particularly for an old building.
3. Spacious triple room (took grand-daughter).
4. Had a bath, which most rooms do not have.
5. Some parking, although only for 4 cars at front and a couple at back.
6. Comfy soft beds which are quite rare these days.
The not so good:
1. Unlucky to have the triple room in the eves so, although it had a shower in the bath, you had to kneel to get any sort of shower.
2. Breakfast a big disappointment. Expect full English but only serving toast, bacon butties, cereals and yogurt. Not sure what other hotels there are serving but expect better for price.
3. Bar closes at 10pm. Other hotels on same row open until 11pm. Who wants to go to bed at 10pm on holiday! so went elsewhere. You'd think in these strange times they would want to maximise profit on drinks.
