I had a lovely time at this accommodation. Ofelia and her family were warm and caring, and helped me with information about getting around and what to see in Havana. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden. My room and bathroom were clean and tied up every day. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and varied local food. La Casona de Kiko is not far away from the Palacios de Convenciones and it is really well-located if attending an event there. It was safe to walk around and easy to get to Old Havana. I will definitely come back! :)

Cuban charm
I thoroughly enjoyed a 10 day stay La Casona de Kiko. Ofelia and Mariella provided a lovely home environment; clean, pleasant in traditional Cuban setting. An excellent breakfast for $5 is served in a lovely old dining room. The environment is very safe and I could walk to the Convention Centre. There are good restaurants nearby and it is easy to get to Old Havanna by taxi or on the tourist red bus. I strongly recommend this small hotel to anyone who wishes to avoid the larger touristy ones..
