The four hundred year old part of the property has been retained with suitable furnishings, our room was very clean, tidy & comfortable. The hosts are very friendly & helpful, the homemade food is of the highest quality, with very generous portions. We can now understand why the Castle Inn is so popular.

lovely stay
we stayed for two nights and could not fault it,not over fancy but very nice,spotlessly clean, very comfy in a lovely quiet location, very friendly owner and staff, the food is absolutely delicious, cooked by the owner there is a range of authentic Thai dishes and English dishes, with pies that must be tried, wish we could of had longer to try more. dog friendly which is a bonus with a good outside area, close to some beautiful scenery, would definitely stay there again, at the least stop for a meal if we were passing that way.

This is a Gem of a place to stay in Wales. Exceptionally good value for money and the freshly cooked food is delicious. Rooms were spotless and staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. We arrived to a warm welcome and quickly shown to our room. Tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable with ample towels and decent sized tea cups. We had an evening meal that was well portioned, reasonably priced, wonderfully cooked and served with a smile and breakfast in the morning was an equal delight. Having found this jewel we are planning another but longer visit.
