"When we booked hotel it said that it was family friendly and it most definite was not. It had multiple pools that were adult only, there was only one very very small pool for children most arras where not accesible or kid friendly. A la carte restaurants did not allowed children. We stayed 4d/3n and unable to dine at any of the a la carte restaurants. Also the childrens club was only for kids 5 and up dont remember max age but we couldnt bring our 3 year old to be watch and enjoy the amenities while we enyoed adult only areas. Compared to other Barcelo hotels that we have visited with our kid this one was disappointing.. i would say it is a great hotel for couples or childless groups."
"All was great, although not at all in a picturesque location, busy, noisy street, narrow long driveway into property, landscaping beautiful, pool few steps from my door, pool house w tables, kitchen next to it. Pool wonderful open all day till 9 pm, very very clean. Staff very warm, courteous, helpful, kind."
"The buffet was horrible! Good luck getting a reservation at the restaurants. The hotel is showing its age. Paid for all inclusive but had to leave the hotel for all meals. Get a Airbnb or just go to a different hotel. Don’t waste your money!!
The staff was rude and didn’t care to help. The lady at the reservation deck should look for a new job!!!"
"Exhausted so was hard to think and be rational. Hotel room overly humid, air condition made it cool and wet. Furniture, linens excellent, bed e tra thick foam,"
"Tanya at Reception is bilingual so if you need Inglis pick her. It's easier to pay cash for the restaurant as opposed to signature to the room. They just don't get that, and if they do, it doesn't always work. Service staff are also smarter than me language wise. Rooms are fine, remember it's a 3+ star place. Not all electric plugs are grounded, plan accordingly. The AC and the hot water performed as expected. Earplugs are always good for the national neighbors. The pool is popular, with towels and dressing rooms available to guests. The grounds are patrolled and parking is secured, you can leave the clubs in the car. All in all, we always enjoy our stay here."
