It's located just across the Burrard Street Bridge from city centre and is the place for locals and visitors to see and be seen. Besides enjoying the sun and sand, you can do laps in a saltwater pool; play tennis, basketball, or beach volleyball; or head for the designated dog beach with your 4-legged friends.

    It's easy to spend entire days here. Just a few steps from the beach you'll discover bustling streets filled with independent shops and fantastic restaurants. This is one of those beaches where people spend their entire holiday.

    The waters are calm, so they're good for swimming or cooling off. You will have to climb 500 steps to get to and from the beach, so be prepared for a walk.
