Located in my favorite neighborhood and street in Tbilisi, one block from the Marjanishvili Metro subway station, which gets you all over the city quickly for 1 lari. It is quiet because it is hidden away in a courtyard with no traffic, but that means that it is not visible from the street, so hard to find the first time. They share their street number with many others, and have no sign for the hotel on Agmashenebeli Ave. The courtyard is behind the swank New Tiflis Hotel, so take the little driveway next to it, and then take the first left. The reception staff have decent English, and try to help. Both of the rooms I have had there have been tiny, smaller than many ship cabins. The bathrooms have been large, in lovely white "marble", but the shower plumbing has been broken in both. Bed accessible from only one side, squeezed between walls. Chairs uncomfortable. Nothing hot at breakfast, very disappointing. Coffee poor. No kettles or microwaves in rooms. They never responded to my special request on my Hotels.com reservation, nor to my follow-up message.
