The room had a bug infestation. I went downstairs and nicely told the woman at the front desk and she grabbed bug spray (which she grabbed quickly telling me it was readily available because this list not have been the first time this issue occurred) she sprayed and then left the bottle with me and told me to kill any more I see. They ate a hole throw some of our clothes. We had not eaten in the hotel room at all but the woman from the front desk continued to tell us we had “brought in something sweet” when I explained again that we had not eaten in the hotel, nor had we been in it since early that morning, she said “well it must’ve been something left on the desk or floor by the previous person”. I then said that the room should have been cleaned between people and she said “I didn’t say that, it was clean, it’s something you brought in” we asked for the email of the manager and she told us no. We asked why and she said “only o communicate with him”. My friend went back downstairs and was finally able to get her to put him on speaker phone where she explained what happened. The manager and the woman at the front break start speaking very badly about my friend in Italian, thinking she wouldn’t understand but she speaks and understand Italian fluently. We asked for a refund for that night and the next one so we could move hotels since they would not move our rooms and she said absolutely not, that Expedia had to refund us. Overall a horrid experience.
