A comfortable stay and a fantastic dinner
Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Calais was smooth, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant—but what really stood out was the dinner. We hadn’t planned on eating at the hotel, but we’re so glad we did. The meal was surprisingly delicious—thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and far better than what you might expect from a hotel restaurant.
Even more memorable than the food was the kindness of the staff. They were warm, attentive, and especially welcoming to our children, treating them with genuine care and friendliness that made the evening feel even more special.
Our room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with a lovely view of the port and a bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore Calais on foot, and we appreciated how relaxing everything felt after a day of travel.
While it may not be a luxury destination, the Holiday Inn in Calais delivers exactly what a traveler needs—comfort, kindness, and a few unexpected delights. We would absolutely stay here again.
