As we have stayed in other La Quinta hotels before that were very nice, I have to say we were shocked. The first thing we had to deal with was a stopped up toilet in which we had to wait for around 1 1/2 hrs. for maintenance to take care of and by the next morning, it was starting to give problems again, not sure if this was based on previous tenants or not. Also there was no remote in the room at all and so we had to wait again for someone to download channels or something before that was set up. I believe my husband had to ask for towels and I know for certain I had to ask for an additional blanket.
This is all not to mention that the air conditioner was so loud and rattled so bad that in order to get even the 1 hour of sleep we did get was only because we each tossed and turned with another pillow covering our ears.
Needless to say, we will never stay at this La Quinta again.
When we come back to the beach again, we will be spending the night elsewhere. If I could have gotten a refund, I would have left and gotten another hotel.
