Staff on reception need urgent retraining.
Reception at checkin very slow. Girl called me "luvvie" which I did not like. Tried to order a sandwich on room service but reception did not pick up so I had to go down again to order. Sandwich came (on white Mother's Pride bread, not very nice) with Scots waiter who procedded to tell me it was my fault that I had to go down to reception as I had not answered their phone call. He was quite rude and argumentative. TV did not work so I informed reception after breakfast, who promised to fix it. At lunchtime it was still not working so I had to go to reception AGAIN, who said the maintenance man had gone to the wrong room tghe first time. The TV was fixed at last. When checking out this morning I was again addressed as "darling" by reception staff, which I did not like. Overall the staff seemed completely untrained and ignorant of how to treat guests, overly familiar and inefficient. I will not stay here again. this is supposed to be the best hotel in Blackpool? Don't make me laugh.
