Although we had to wait for our room to be ready, we were asked if we wanted a different room but we were in no rush, we had an excellent stay. We had a weekend stay, the room was clean and comfortable and all the staff we met were polite and helpful. Breakfast is worth the additional cost but book with your room / stay. The hotel is very central and very close to the train station. The only downside is it can be quite noisey, but you get used to this and ear plugs are provided if you are a light sleeper.
