Beautiful lodge in dreamy picturesque MT settings. Guest services are friendly. Food at Logan's was AMAZING! Highly recommend eating there, especially the seared trout! Unfortunately, we would not recommend the Grouse Mountain Lodge.
When we came into our loft room #257, we found dirty kid's socks under the table, food in and under the couch and King size bed, a splatter of brown liquid dripped and dried by the sink and a big iron mark on the floor. The second room #258 was a bit cleaner, but we still found trash under furniture, that made us feel like the room hadn't been cleaned properly. The outdoor hot tub was closed for maintenance (a main selling point for all day skiers like our family). With no bathtubs in the rooms for soaking muscles, it was very disappointing. The indoor pool was also an odd green color and the walls slightly slimy. We went in and immediately out again, because of the yuck look and feel of the water.
Our biggest issues were the nickel and diming of this resort. We had a premium booking with complimentary shuttle services. I was hosting a group from Texas and they were constantly being told wrong information, over charged for services and waiting for scheduled shuttle services for over 30 minutes with little communication. You feel like the hotel is being cheap, while looking like luxury. We stayed two nights and two nights at the cheaper Pine Lodge. The Pine Lodge looks a lot less impressive, but it took care of our group like they were royalty!
