Disappointed

The staff are very polite and friendly, so was the bar area, Unfortunately there was no breakfast available as advertised it was The room offers no tea or coffee making facilities There is not a rubbish bin in the room The mattress is very tired and didn’t sleep very well, If a few small improvements were made it would be a good little Hotel

Absolute disaster!

Total disaster! I could NEVER stay here again and don't recommend. The service was poor, staff ridiculously rude and the room was dirty!! Carpet hadnt been hoovered and sheets were filthy. This hotel shouldn't be on this platform, destroys Hotels.com reputation in my opinion.

2/10 Poor

We were accosted at reception by drunk patrons, upon entering the room we noticed the smell of urine, brown curious stains and smudges on the walls .. bugs on the sheets and black mold on the windows

Nice bar, terrible room.

The lady checking me in was great. The downstairs bar looked very nice but the room was really bad. Mouldy hole in the ceiling, bathroom smelled like bleach when I went in but then very stale soon after, dog hair and hair pins on the floor, tobacco and rolling papers in the broken drawer, the window latches were broken which is very dangerous for children, the shower panel had fallen off, it was rough. Fortunately the bed was comfy and the sheets were clean.

4/10 Fair

Terrible.never again

The room was clean but not worth £50 . There was shouting and banging on doors through the night and football chants. The chef wasn't on site due to sickness so no breakfast available. The car park was full of rubble from building work and the bed was so uncomfortable I nearly went to sleep in my van in the carpark I was deterred by the cars screeching round the estate.

Perfect budget accommodation, friendly and clean

The "Pub" is an ex-servicemen's club, full of upbeat, salt-of-the-earth types the military typically recruits and always churns out; so you'll never lack for someone to talk to, or a friendly word or laugh. The current landlady had only taken over the day prior, so was not yet hooked up to provide breakfast, though she assured me that it will be available on my next visit. There will be one.
