Disgusting
Where do I start… We arrived at the property and we’re met by the owner, we entered the property and the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. After entering she tried to charge us an additional €20 cleaning fee despite Hotels.com saying all fees were included. Once we mentioned this she dropped the subject. This place was NOT clean. The glasses, pots and pans and cutlery were covered in a white sticky residue and there were not enough utensils and no kitchen towel to cook properly. The hot water tank is very small and could only last 2 very short showers. There was no toilet roll in the bathroom which was frustrating as we didn’t want to buy a pack as we were only staying 2 days. She overcharged us on the city tax, we should have checked but we didn’t think we’d be overcharged. Lastly, the WI-FI did not work, the signal drops in and out and even when connected is insufficient to do basic browsing. I hate leaving negative reviews but our stay was awful that I’d hate so anyone to experience the same. The smell of smoke was so strong that we had to wash all of our clothes at our next destination.
