Not a 5* hotel
Let's be straight to the point, this is not a 5* hotel and more like a low 4*. The hotel pictures and looking at it from far away, it looks modern and contemporary, but it's only a layer of makeup.
- Check in. We were told to take the elevators from the east wing, after 15min of looking for the room and which rooms were very well signed, we went back to reception and now told us (different person, that such a room was on the west wing).. The first person seemed undertrained.
- Rooms are nice and modern, until you start using and looking closer.
*Shower drained was clocked and was creating a pool in the bathroom.
*Walls being dirty from previous guests and not deep cleaning was made.
*Beds sheets have some type of velcro at the bottom, and scratch your feet while sleeping.
*Walls are not soundproofed at all, and you could hear other guests screaming/drunk when arriving at 3am, or guest leaving early (6am) and dropping everything on the floor and dragging furniture around, and so on...
*TV useless and not connected either to an antenna or streaming services.
*Rooms stinks from the shower drainage.
*As with other google reviews, not even complimentary water in the room.
-Half board / Restaurant / Food. First thing, the staff seems completely undertrained, which ok, we have been all there once, but this was too much, like getting your drinks when you pretty much finished your meal because they had not idea what table where you sat at. Food completely tasteless.
