Gem of NYC hotel
I love the Shoreham Hotel. I stay here every time I visit the city. The front desk staff is super friendly and so helpful if needed. I travel solo and always feel safe at this hotel. It is a true gem.

Nice Affordable Option to the Big Brands
It's a nice hotel with spacious rooms in the heart of Manhattan. Can't argue with that. It's a nice alternative to the convention hotels if you don't feel like paying those prices and don't mind walking a block or two.

Flawless stay
Stayed for two nights and had no complaints. Arrived late at night and found my credit card had been blocked (international card), the staff at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and let me use their phone to call my bank. My room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. I could hear the TV in the next room but only minimally. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. Location was perfect for a two days of being a tourist. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Perfect for a short stay. The room was a good size and clean. The only issue we had during our stay was the elevator was broken one evening and we had to use the stairs to get back to our room. The location was great with easy access to a lot of shopping, sight seeing and dinning.

Great for the price!!!
If you plan to hangout in your hotel room the whole time this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is a little older/smaller and the elevator had some issues but they got it fixed quickly. Our view was nothing to write home about as it was simply another building, HOWEVER the location is incredible and the price was fantastic! We had a room at the end of the hall which had access to a fire escape. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We didn’t spend much time in the room so this worked perfectly for us. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Not the worst, but down there!
This was way below average. The room was small and not as depicted in photos. The soap and shampoo was left in the trash can on the desk, the towels were left in a pile on the dresser. The floor and carpets seemed worn and needing replacement. It wasn't the worst I've ever stayed, it within the bottom three! I would not go back!
