On a road trip from Ohio to Seattle we tried to splurge for a comfortable room as respite from the long hot drive. The experience was purely awful and we got out of this hotel as quickly as we could. The pet friendly room smelled absolutely terrible- somehow other hotels figure out how to prevent this so I know it is possible. Additionally, when we turned on the faucet to the bathtub, some kind of gravel/cat litter type substance poured out with the water, and the tub wouldn’t drain. The staff was kind and offered to move us. We were settled and it was late, so we opted to shower in a different room instead. However, it just didn’t feel clean or relaxing in the room after that incident and we did not get anything close to the experience we hoped. We opened a dispute through Expedia to initiate a discount or refund, and notified the front desk. Everyone was attentive to our concern, but it now 4 days later with no real communication or resolution, so I am sharing this review.
