-First impression: Hotel sign missing letters, there was an angry drunk walking through the parking lot as we tried to find parking. *There were no open spots* parking was completely unrestricted on a relatively busy day.
-Inside: Staff was initially 'ok' not exactly welcoming, lobby was pretty, elevator was rickety and slow but functional and room looked exactly as depicted.
-Pool looked like photo but seemed like a cheap one star motel version, it was perfect for kids, didn't see many adults having fun. Also couldn't find a quiet moment at the pool. Inn and spa sounds so quaint. There were at least 50 screaming kids.
-Hot tub: kids under 16 did enter, maybe this isn't enforceable? Certainly not relaxing or romantic being splashed in the hot tub by someone's kid
-Spa: couldn't tell yah, tried to make appointments they said there were *none available* but the spa was closed every time I passed... Which was a lot
Overall stay: bathroom wall may have had boogers on it (something greenish brown was smeared), and there were hairs, multiple hairs, so you know.
Lights went out in our bathroom and on the back lights and outlets of our room, hotel staff shared their obvious frustrations with the situation over the several calls we had while they resolved it. Because it was our fault I guess.
Overall, I may have expected too much, but this was the first trip my husband and I got to take in a really long time and it didn't meet a single expectation
