Nestled in the woods

Wonderful place to stay nestled in the woods. Dining options and coffee shop on sight. Nice stopping point between Denali and Anchorage. Lots of walking trails and activities.

Great Denali view

Disappointed there were zero amenities in the bathroom such as lotion or drinking cups. Lovely to be able to open the windows for fresh air. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The fire pits were awesome!

Great views and accommodations!

The Wilderness Lodge is beautiful! We were able to see Mt Denali from the deck!! Our room was great and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay there again if we are in Alaska!

A very good place to stay

Good food options. Coffee stand that had good options. Plus two good restaurants and a bar with good food. Plus s'mores and popcorn by the fire pits.

Incredible hotel

This place was such a hidden gem! For the price, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The rooms are clean and quiet. They’re a little older but very nice for Alaska. The restaurants and coffee shop were super convenient and reasonably priced. The property was STUNNING and the views of Denali were worth it all by themselves. Already planning to stay next summer.

Great viewing opportunities

We had a good stay. We used the resort as our base to Talkeetna. We were not blessed with good weather for viewing mountain which would have been great from the lodge’s vistas. Not their fault. We did enjoy the presentations in their community room by the naturalists. Only real negative was the lack of cups in the rooms. Oh, the treehouse was a cool place to view the mountain too. Unique

Good value and lovely scenery. Several choices for food and beverage. Gift shop was moderately priced with a varied selection of gifts and clothing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Patio and deck views of the mountains were beautiful.

Out dated

A bit out dated and painters tape on screen in bedroom to patch hole in screen.

Really nice location

Enjoyed our stay here especially with all the pre-planned activities that the hotel offered. Great atmosphere, great views, friendly staff.
Lance, 2-night trip

Nice, but needs more parking!

Great resort-like setting with many activities and 3 restaurants, but this facility caters to Princess Cruise Ships with guests arriving in buses. The parking is very inadequate for travelers who are driving their own cars.

Princess Lodge with view of Denali

We had a lovely, clean double queen room. Building was clean but appeared to be getting some renovations. We enjoyed meals in both dining lodges, the campfires in the evening, a guided nature walk, a Denali climber presentation and hiking to the treehouse. This lodge has one of Alaska’s best views of Mount Denali.
