The property is in a protected building with original character on the 3rd floor.
The hotel is beautiful but poorly managed. The staff is kind, but the management is only interested in money. There were many issues during my stay which began booking for a week As a new resident to Ljubljana relocating because of war in Ukraine, we were first treated well. The staff was kind and waived the nightly dog fee for my refugee Yorkshire.
Unfortunately when I found an apartment earlier than anticipated, the management refused to return the extra money for a week. The management also reprimanded the staff for dog refugee free. They asked staff to get money for dog for the remaining 10 days. Management does not appreciate the staff or good customers. After I chose to stay in the hotel longer even without a kitchen, management clearly only cares about getting money from people, nothing about integrity, kindness and doing the right thing. Ljubljana is filled with kind wonderful people, but not this company.
Issue include lack of cleaning for entire weeks, music noise from apartments above waking me up at 3 on 4 nights. Poor sound isolation from other stavdard rooms. Incredibly loud street with cars and buses on one side of property which is fully mitigated by good windows. In summer without air conditioner it would be a serious problem, in winter like now, it was not.
I recommend people stay in this beautiful city in a different hotel where management is kind and cares.
