Payment issues
Was nearly scammed because of the breakfast fee. We ( my two children and me) had our breakfasts included in our hotel booking tickets, and as we were about to eat our breakfasts the receptionist at the hotel told us that we had not paid for the breakfasts.

The IBIS Budget in Warsaw was a great value near the City Center. There were no frills in the room -- but it was very clean and large in size, especially by European standards! The breakfast buffet was very good with hot and cold items. The front desk staff was helpful. I would like to give a loud shout out to Adam, a very enthusiastic young man who checked me in and chatted in English. Two days later, he remembered me and my room number - a first in my life! He deserves a raise for excellent customer service! 😄😄😄

A good budget hotel
It was exactly what it says in the name, it's a budget hotel. Breakfast is disappointing (not much choice) but the room and hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Should you choose a twin room, expect the two single beds are pushed together due to room space, so not ideal if staying with a friend. Air con was rather weak but the rooms were not hot. My advice is to look at the price of the ibis budget and the ibis styles right next door, next time I stay I will look to book the styles if the price wasn't that much more. Both hotels are in a good location for the river front, airport and old town (25 min walk or a 5 min escooter ride)
