I ended up leaving and staying somewhere else. I have no idea why this is rated "excellent" here, but I was in a room where the door didn't quite close, the peep hole cover was broken and there were signs everywhere about how the hotel was not responsible for valuables. The front desk person did offer to move me, which might have taken care of the first two things, but the last one was non-negotiable. I was traveling with my laptop and I would have been worried about it all day when I wasn't there. I did not feel safe (traveling by myself), so I moved to a different hotel entirely before the first overnight and, since this was "prepaid," I lost all of the money. There's no one on hotels.com to help me either, so I will not be reserving through them in the future.
