My kids and us took a quick to visit Nana in Detroit. We needed and overnight stay in the area and this was the best option. Lot of eating options around as well as a cinema. It is next to a high way and the popular 7mile Rd. Staff and breakfast were good.

My stay for the room was great. The rooms were very clean and organized. The only issue that I had with my visit is that the pool area is very cold. All of the children in there had chill bumps and were shivering. The water is cold as expected but the room within itself was very cold.

Television did not receive channels when I called the front desk they said they were not having any problems with their service and for me to unplug the TV that should help otherwise there was nothing they could do about it. So we sat in our room with no TV all night. Also, continental breakfast had several children under the age of 16 with no adult parents running around making a mess with all of the food. They were loud and rude and I never once seen an adult come and sit with them or anyone say anything to them.

I booked a room here because it was a "Hyatt". The property is very dated, and the "lounge" had really no alcoholic options besides a gin and rum I've never heard of. For a single night, in and out, it's doable, but for anything longer, I'd find a more updated property.
