An odd revamp by Ramada of another hotel, I think? My first thought when I walked in to register was the chemical smell of the cleaning product being used to mop the floors--like Fabuloso? Super strong and Seriously toxic and I am sensitive to such things. The room had the very same distinct odor, which did dissipate after three days, but I kept the sliding glass door open a crack to air it out, but I think it's embedded. (I almost checked out, as it was that strong). The king room was very clean. The bathroom needs an update, and some tlc--room 212. I immediately took out the red light from the ceiling; put it back in before I left. The hallways could use an update in paint--still 80's mauve; and the breakfast room is a bit sad, altho very clean and well-kept. Typical powdered eggs, but cereal, decent yogurt, bagels, waffles, Wonderbread toast, and peanut butter as thick as frozen butter. The staff was amazing. The downstairs tile floor even more so! Very, very quiet and well-built.
