I paid for non reimbursable stay at this Hotel via Expedia, I attended the Waco Triathlon. When I got there they didn't have rooms, they argued a system problem..... we had to be up before 5 am so location was a must... The girl from the counter told me she had solved the issue and booked me into another hotel....when I arrieved to the other location, it was 20 to 25 min... outside of Waco!!!!! It that was impossible to stay there so I call back to Residence Inn and another lady picked the phone offering to solve my problem... never received a call back!!!!!!..... this was 8 pm.... so I had to start calling and found a room by myself in Springhill suites ,( which I had to pay for from my pocket, obviously) that was a block away from this location, an its also a Marriot hotel...meaning that the personnel from Residence Inn didn't even made the calls or didn't want to spend 20 dlls more in the fare to solve the problem! Its incredible that we as customers are subject to super strict policies and when the time comes for the company to perform its just as simple as not doing anything. Preparing for a triathlon takes at least 8 weeks which its a pretty good effort for anybody, or maybe I was there for something more delicate like a family issue or work.... this guys just don't care.NOT A PLACE TO STAY AND BY THE WAY I HAVEN´T RECEIVED MY REFUND.
