I can’t say enough good things about the customer service at this hotel. From check-in to check-out, every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, accommodating, and quick to respond. They made me feel welcome and safe, and their kindness went a long way in improving my stay. The front desk staff especially went above and beyond to assist me with every request.
However, the facility itself has serious issues that can’t be overlooked. An alarm went off at 4 a.m., which was very disturbing. There were roaches in the room—it honestly felt like they lived there. The water was either scalding hot or freezing cold, and the room temperature was just as extreme with no comfortable in-between. The door wouldn’t close properly, and I had to get help from the front desk just to open and secure it. There was also no chair for the desk, so I had to pull the rolling desk over to the bed in order to work.
Despite all of this, the staff was so wonderful that I chose to focus on their efforts rather than the shortcomings of the room. They’re clearly doing the best they can with what they have. Management should absolutely invest in improving the facilities—because the team here truly deserves better. They made a tough situation more bearable with their amazing attitude and professionalism.
