Nothing special, worked for what I needed
The place was okay, clean, check-in was fine, overall just what I would expect. I mostly was thrown off by the resort fee + the room rate. I paid a $35.36 per night resort fee on top of the room rate for my 2 night stay. Call me old, but I did not think the over all accommodations warranted the resort fee when I only used the pool and hot tub once in 2 nights. I just was not WOWed for this "additional resort fee". I knew it was added before I booked online, but after staying, I can say I will not probably be back. I booked in the winter season, I.E. the slow season.

I liked the quietness. I did not like that there was no water bottles in the rooms to make coffee or napkins or extra towels to clean up spill around coffee machine are/microwave. And last the pool was very dirty there was dirt on the walls of the pool and the water looked very dirty. Also the shower area and restrooms in the pool area were very dirty for it being a resort.

Salishan Coastal Lodge was a well maintained property both inside and out. We enjoyed our walk down to the shopping area. We discovered a nature trail the meandered along the golf course and the bay from shopping center over to the beautiful coast. Oh, did I mention it is a golf resort as well. Make sure to use your room card to access the private gate to get to Salishan beach, just south of the shopping area via Salishan Dr. There is a parking area at the end of the road and walk out to the ocean. Walk the length of the spit on one side and then walk back of the bay side for a truly amazing view.
