The hotel has a really good location and the room whilst a bit spartan was clean. Where I felt let down is that the hotel is a bit shabby and sometimes the staff were not around. I appreciate people are busy but getting your ket back should not take six minutes.

I spent very little time in the hotel. I basically only slept in it as was otherwise busy with work commitments in the city. The room was okay. A little dated and tired, a little grubby here and there but not dirty. Overall it was ideal for me to get my head down and expect nothing more. The room could do with a safe to secure valuables. Location is excellent though, 30 second walk to the cathedral square. Breakfast didn’t start until 8am, which was a shame as I had to leave the hotel prior to this both mornings.

Property was in an excellent location, and in walking distance to most of the sights and transport facilities. I had booked to see a concert at the WDR studios, which was right next door. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

I honestly don't understand why the place doesn't have a better rating. The interior is kind of wierd, like a mix of different styles. But that's the only thing that can be noticed. The room and the bathroom are very big and clean. Amazing friendly and helpful stuff. Great location and amenities. Great water pressure. Comfortable bathroom with the space for all your things. The only thing that can be an issue is fridge. There is no one. But I want take any points for that because overall I was very satisfied.

Good base for the Cathedral

This is a well placed hotel a stones throw away from the Cathedral. We stayed for two nights to visit the markets and it was great to use as a base. The room was quite clean and tidy and the staff were excellent, due to an early flight we got the a few hours before check in but as our room was ready we were checked straight in with no issues. The bed was comfortable enough but the spare blankets in the cupboard were a bit dirty and we didn't end up using them even though it was a bit cold.

This hotel is run down. It looked like something out of a really bad movie. No night tables. No fridge. No soap. No tissue. The floor was filthy. I had to wear my shoes to go to the bathroom. Cheap vinyl planks on the floor and dollar store curtains on the windows. The bed is way too low to the ground and the “supposed” bed skirt was just pinned on. This is not a zero but a -10.

Adequate for a very short stay

Very dated and carpet was dirty. They supply slippers for your feet and they were much needed! The balcony flooded in the 2 nights we stayed there due to the rainy weather. Only one mug in the kitchen and not much else to eat off.. a few plates. One pan. Water tastes disgusting out of the tap but they had bottled water to use. Wasn’t sure if this was free or not. They need to make that clear. Not a great stay, but place was very spacious and was adequate for 2 nights. We did have the maid knocking on our door at 11:20 on the 2nd day asking us to leave because she needs to clean and check out was at 11:00. We told her we were booked in for 2 days and she just huffed at me and walked away. Very bad attitude. The receptionists were lovely though and apologised for the maids behaviour after I commented on what had happened that morning.
