New Year in Barbados
Lovely hotel with great amenities as you would expect for the price. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. I would say our ocean view was more a side view as sunset and sunrise were obstructed by the building. Not the best location and beach if you want to swim in the sea, wasn’t helped because the sea was choppy but also very rocky in the sea - there are better locations on the west coast.

Upon check-in we were a little disappointed in our room (1bedroom). After posting a comment in Expedia, the property manager contacted us and offered to change our room to the newer tower. Once we moved our experience was exceptional. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and bright. Beach was quiet and water was warm and there was great snorkeling. Food was very good with a particular shout out to Oro which was phenomenal. Would definitely come back.

All the staff were great! Dining at ORO after a spa experience at the AQUA is a MUST! The cocktail options were best, no additional charges! Highly recommended to try OASIS coffee bar, try “ANYTHING YOU LIKE” drink made by TRISHA! Cleanliness of the hotel plus the beach add up to a relaxing holiday vibe! We got to experience to see newly hatch turtles along the beach! Kudos to the rescue team as well as the staff who made sure for their safety! BARBADOS is one of a kind, from the people, food and beach!
