I stayed at this hotel with my family over the weekend, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. Upon check-in Friday, our room was not properly cleaned—there were stains on the comforter and what appeared to be blood on the curtain.
That same evening, my 12-year-old niece was trapped in the swimming pool bathroom for 15 minutes because the door knob malfunctioned. The staff was unable to locate a key, and I ended up calling 911. Thankfully, my brother managed to break the door open, but my niece was terrified and in a state of panic. Despite this traumatic event, no one from the staff offered an apology or took responsibility, instead insisting the door knob wasn’t broken. Saturday brought more issues. A man claiming to be maintenance entered my father’s room (room 228) without notice, saying he was there to fix the TV. This was alarming as we were never informed about any maintenance visits. The next day, my father discovered that a sweatsuit was missing from his room. When I reported this to the front desk, I was met with defensiveness—the staff member refused to check the cameras and simply said, “I trust my employees,” which was incredibly dismissive given the circumstances.
Throughout the stay, I repeatedly asked to speak with a manager and was told one would be available Saturday morning. No manager ever showed up.
