My recent stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. First and foremost, the staff were the highlight of the stay, consistently demonstrating exceptional politeness and a genuine willingness to assist with any request. However, the hotel itself leaves much to be desired.
Despite claims of refurbishment, the hotel's dated 1980s style is strikingly apparent. The revamp seems to have done little to modernize the space, and the furnishings certainly do not meet the standard expected of a Four Seasons, or even a five-star hotel in general. While the mattress provided a surprisingly comfortable night's sleep, the overall ambiance of the room was lackluster.
Although the amenities were decent, they lacked the "wow factor" typically associated with Four Seasons properties. Given the high price point, the overall value for money was underwhelming.
Would I stay again? Maybe not compared to the other 5 star chains that offer much more. However, if the hotel wishes to truly live up to its reputation, a more substantial overhaul is necessary to elevate the guest experience and justify the premium pricing.
