Helt ok förutom musiknivån på kvällen. Omöjligt att föra samtal i baren! Annars bra service och trevlig personal. Kanske lite väl begränsat utbud av mat och vin i restaurangen, inte minst med tanke på namnet! Rummet ok, men begränsad utsikt dock tyst och bra sängar. Lokaliteterna charmiga med tydliga avtryck från byggnadens historia. Bra läge i city! Hygglig prisnivå!

Recension: The Vault Hotel, Helsingborg The Vault Hotel i Helsingborg bär på ett rykte det inte riktigt förmår leva upp till. Med sin pampiga fasad och ambition att leverera en upplevelse utöver det vanliga, lämnas gästen lätt med känslan av att hotellet lovar mer än det faktiskt levererar. Frukosten är rimlig – inget spektakulärt, men helt okej. Den gör sitt jobb utan att imponera. Baren, som i sin glansdagar kanske varit ett dragplåster, känns nu snarare trött och oinspirerad – som om även cocktailglasen gett upp. Det hänger en sorts trötthet över hela hotellet, en känsla som förstärktes efter ägarbytet. Man märker det i detaljerna – i servicen, i atmosfären, i bristen på det lilla extra. Men med det sagt: The Vault kostar cirka 1000 kr per natt, och för det priset får man ett boende som är fullt jämförbart med ett genomsnittligt svenskt landsortshotell. Det är rent, bekvämt och absolut funktionellt. Det är inte dåligt – bara inte så speciellt som man kanske förväntar sig. Helt klart värt pengarna, men inte något man skriver hem om.
